New security update for Leopard and Snow Leopard

Apple has released Security Update 2010-005, available in four versions: Snow Leopard client (80.36MB) and Server (136.86MB) on one side and Mac OS X Leopard on the same variants (211.88MB and 418.92MB respectively) . You can download the appropriate file from the Apple website (where you also have much more information) or from the Software Updater for Mac OS X as usual.

What are the benefits to your team? Basically the settlement of certain vulnerabilities among which:

  • Solving problems related to fonts and malicious PDF files.
  • Combat-related remote attacks Samba protocol.
  • Problems relating to the impersonation of a host whose domain name has been subtly modified.
